School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely):
By the end of June 2026 the number of students experiencing poverty who attend regularly will increase from 76 % to 80%.
By the end of June 2026 the number of Hispanic/Latino students who attend regularly will increase from 80% to 85%
This will increase the overall rate of students who attend regularly.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Teams will meet regularly to examine social-emotional, academic, attendance and discipline data for students and plan interventions.
- Action: Behavior, Health & Wellness Team Monitors Attendance Data and Offer Student Supports
- Action: Students identified as needing more targeted support to increase their attendance will receive an individualized plan for invention.
- Action: Students will feel connected to their classroom and school.

Strategic Plan Goal Area 2: Foundations of Success
Strategic Plan Outcome: Each student demonstrates proficiency on language and literacy targets by the end of third grade.
Strategic Plan Measure: % of 3rd graders demonstrating proficiency on the state Language Arts assessment.
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely):
By the end of June 2025 the number of fourth graders meeting or exceeding the OSAS assessment will increase from 44% to 54%.
By the end of June 2025 the number of Fifth graders meeting or exceeding the OSAS assessment will increase from 57% to 67%
Meeting both of these goals would result in 61% of all fourth and fifth graders meeting or exceeding the OSAS assessment.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Consistent use of explicit instruction in age-appropriate increments, implementing best practices with research based materials with a gradual release model.
- Action: Teachers will use best practices and district curriculum to implement a strong core literacy block in their classroom.
- Action: Teachers will use the new literacy assessments to guide instruction and support student achievement.
- Action: Teachers will participate in Professional Development in literacy assessment.
